Mapping Ettiketto’s vision

Ettiketto came to us with a goal – to create the worlds best training for their printer operators. The purpose? Not only to increase production and quality, but for their internal brand to match their external one – the global standard for label printing.

Together, we pinpointed some features that an ideal software would need to fit their vision. Here are a few:

Microlearning capabilities – the ways of learning through the platform should be at the forefront of the current science on learning.

AI automation – converting oboarding documents, safety standards, and everything else an employee needs to know into digestible content is very time consuming. An ideal software should automate this content creation process with the help of AI.

Individualized training – all employees learn differently. An ideal software needs to adapt the content, learning pace, and areas of focus based on the specific user’s needs.

Blocks to build on

After scouring the European market for learning platforms with as many key features as possible, we came across an up-and-coming microlearning platform.

After reaching out to the developers and learning more, we presented the platform to Ettiketto. With their approval, we partnered up with the company and used the platform as a base.

In this case, the platform already supported microlearning capabilities and AI automated content creation.

Tailor-made solutions

What’s missing?

For Ettiketto, the platform lacked a few key features. First, a way to create different educational structures for different types of employees, which could mix and match existing content. Then, fitting not just written documents but full presentations and videos into the platform. Finally, improving accessibility to the platform.

So what did we do?

We added learning paths, a feature that combines several trainings into a sequential learning experience. Here, employees can be added to different learning paths depending on their role or experience in the company. Now, each employee can go through an individualized training, and the company can easily track knowledge and certifications.

We increased the number of supported formats for the already existing AI automation feature, to adhere to Ettiketto’s existing content library.

We added a web-version of the application to make accessing trainings easier for employees, as work-phones are not given out to employees, but company computers are available for everybody.

Long-term partnership

To further improve the world’s best training for printer operators, new developments are under way:

Right now, the platform meets Ettiketto’s needs, but since our initial discussions, their vision of what an optimal platform has grown.

-Improved AI capabilities to support even more content formats.

-More interactive ways to view and study the content, making learning more fun and lowering the perceived barrier to open the application and go through the content.

-More detailed user-analytics for long term follow-ups on employee training and certification.

What defines the world’s best training for printer operators is not set in stone, and it is a vision we look forward to shaping even further with Ettiketto.
